RMH Auxiliary Donates to "Shop With a Hometown Hero" Program


Members of the Richland Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Board met with Sheriff Andy Hires to present a check for a donation to the “Shop With a Hometown Hero” program. The Auxiliary took up a collection at their recent Christmas luncheon and raised $250 from those present to go toward this effort. The “Shop With a Hometown Hero” program allows children from Richland County to shop with a police officer, firefighter, EMT, or other rescue personnel for warm clothing items such as coats, socks, gloves, etc, plus one small personal item. The shopping days were held on December 12 and 13.
