RMH Hosts Fourth Annual Remembrance Walk

Since October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Month, RMH is sponsoring the fourth annual Walk for Remembrance and Hope on Saturday, October 15. The Walk for Remembrance and Hope will take place at the Angel of Hope Memorial at Musgrove Park in Olney. It will be a one mile walk and there will be a short ceremony to conclude the event. The money raised will go to support Pregnancy and Infant Loss activities at RMH. In case of rain, the ceremony will still take place under the pavilion at Musgrove Park. This walk is intended for all individuals who have been touched by pregnancy or infant loss.

The T-shirts for the walk can be personalized with the name of the baby(s) you are walking in remembrance of. If you would like your baby’s name on your shirt, be sure the registration form is returned before October 3rd.

Those wanting to participate are asked to register early, by October 1st if possible, so that t-shirts can be printed. Late registration will be accepted the day of the event at 7:30 a.m. with the walk beginning at 8:00 a.m. Limited t-shirts will be available the day of the event.

Registration for the Walk for Remembrance and Hope is $20 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. To register, please fill out the registration form and return to Stephanie Ochs at Richland Memorial Hospital. Any questions can be addressed to Stephanie Ochs at 395-7340 ext. 4635.
