Services Available
A number of services are available through Hospice of Southeastern Illinois. Services are delivered with compassion and empathy by an interdisciplinary team of professionals who are skilled at providing end-of-life care and support. We firmly believe that while there comes a time when you can no longer cure a disease, there never comes a time when you can no longer care. Services provided by Hospice of Southeastern Illinois include:
- Nursing visits
- Social Worker visits to coordinate community resources for care
- Certified Nursing Aide visits
- Medical equipment and supplies
- Medications for comfort
- Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy
- Dietary counseling
- Bereavement counseling (Families are followed in bereavement for one year)
- Clergy services
- Visits by trained Hospice volunteers
